We try our best and want to do better. Other times we may make mistakes or poor decisions. It's these times that second chances give us an opportunity to redeem ourselves.
Having a second chance should make you want to work harder especially if your second chance comes with terms and conditions to be fulfilled.
When you get a second chance for anything you must go all the way. You cannot take it for granted, disregard the opportunity or make up your own rules or excuses as you go along.
A second, third or even a forth chance do not mean anything if you didn't learn from your first and no one else is to be blamed when you eventually have to suffer the consequences of your behavior
